A white-out wedding

Kat & Jesse \\  Bunker Hills Event Center

When I got there, there was a chill in the air, the final leaves of fall had fallen onto the grass which was still a vibrant green.

As soon as the string quartet began to play ceremony prelude music, snowflakes began to fall almost in sync with the

notes of the violin. "This is magical!!" I though to myself, feeling giddy about the post ceremony photos we'd take.

A golf cart was parked outside for the the three of us, I was laughing in amazement at the stark difference of the scenery around us from before the ceremony, to after. Completely coated in a fresh layer of white, fluffy snow. So thick, it was hard to get a clear shot of them with all the snow flying between my camera and the subject. We took cover under some pine trees for a few more poses and headed back inside to eat, dance and celebrate Kat and Jesse's marriage.

Throughout the day the bride and groom were so kind, thoughtful, hospitable and enjoyable to be around. It was an unforgettable day with mostly out of town guest that had travelled to be apart of it. So many people plan things around the warmth and sun. Winter truly brings it's own type of beauty if you look for it, you'll indeed find it.
