What to expect and helpful tips for your upcoming photo session.

PREPARING YOUR HOME

It's helpful to remove clutter like papers, phone charger cords, etc. for a simple background.

We like it to looked lived-in so it doesn't need

to be perfect.  If anything is distracting we can

set it aside during the shoot.

For exteriors,  we can help wind up hoses or anything that needs to be moved. Please let us know if you do not have sod in your yard yet.

I'M AN ORIGINAL CATCHPHRASE

I’m a paragraph. Double click here or click Edit Text to add some text of your own or to change the font. This is the place for you to tell your site visitors a little bit about you and your services.

A NOTE ABOUT CHILDREN & PETS

Some kids need a little time to warm up to us. Most dogs need to get all their excitement out. We are dog people, so don't worry about us. If your kids want to show us their favorite toy or even just be shy for a few minutes, that is very common and expected.

WHAT TO WEAR

The most important thing is to be comfortable and have your clothing fit right. There are some examples of casual and comfortable clothing on this page. Neutral colors are always safe. Please avoid logos and clothing that wrinkles. For more clothing inspiration, click the button below.

IT'S OK TO FEEL AWKWARD

I always tell people, the first 15 minutes will feel a little un-natural and then it wears off and gets easier. We will instruct you on what to do. The best moments happen when you let them unfold naturally, so if something unplanned happens, let's roll with it!

FAMILY PORTRAITS

We are happy to capture an updated family portrait for you any images you would like in addition to our ideas. Please let us know if you have any specific requests!
